Preceded by his father Ellsworth, Frank Marshall
began his career in the elevator industry in 1959 at the age of 19.
Utilizing his keen, logical mind and a strong work ethic, Frank
excelled at every task he encountered, moving up the ranks from a
helper, to a mechanic, to an adjuster, and eventually to a
supervisor. With solid character and integrity, Frank acquired the
reputation for being a fair dealing, and decent man with which to do
business. His dedication to customer service was priority number
one, a conviction to which any building owner, maintenance person,
or contractor who met Frank, could attest.
It is with this value in
mind, after 33 years of employment with a large elevator corporation
in the Baltimore area, Frank Marshall founded Arundel Elevator in
1992. Frank believed that he could offer better service that anybody
else at an affordable price. It is in that tradition that Arundel
Elevator company is owned and operated today. We treat every
customer as if they were our only customer.
Growing from a time when
everybody on the employee rolodex had the last name Marshall, we now
employ 40 individuals on a full time basis. All field personnel are
proud members of the International Union of Elevator Constructors
Local #7 and are fully trained and certified by the National
Elevator Industry Educational Program. Our staff has a broad base of
elevator experience ranging every elevator manufacturer, and we are
prepared to meet your vertical transportation needs.
